WE need to see the entire wall, What is the length of the wall? If your mirror is 36" then a 48" bench would be proportional using the 2/3 rule

What's the mirror going to reflect? What's on the other side? Where are the shoes going? Is this a mud/friends door? Or the main entrance? So yes........what is "pretty big, and what is the size of the ENTIRE entry....etc. Solve the clutter........: )

For that sized wall you might want to go a bit larger, my entry wall is 9wx12 high, I used a 60” mirror.im in search of either a 70+ bench or console. For a smaller mirror id also go 1/3 larger, (this is a stock picture)

It’s hard to take a picture of the entire wall because the opposite side is a bathroom and two walls that lead into bedrooms so it’s a short distance so I can’t back up enough.. end to end that wall is 130”.. this is a main entrance. I intended to get bench with no storage and leave the tray beneath it

I would not go with a mirror. You are not reflecting anything. You space looks narrow. I would start with a colorful runner, the length of the entry way. Then a narrow console or bench. Art above
