We have Milgard Ultra and a very happy with them. They have a lifetime guarantee for the original owner. We had to have one sheet of glass replaced (because of a defect that could only be seen at night) and they were quick to respond. We also had to have a huge opening window adjusted and again they were very responsive. We did look at Anderson Fibrex, but were a bit put off because it has wood fiber in it. We live on the water and our winter climate is stormy, cold, rainy and has occassional snow. Our summer temps range from the 70s to as high as 100 degrees. The window frames (and the glass) have performed as we anticipared…beautifully. We think the extra cost was well worth it.

I have Milgard throughout my home. Worth it! However, i do have the Bronze ALUMINUM. i do not care for the other type.
