Leave it blank.  Your eyes need a place to rest at times, not every inch of wall space needs to be covered.

Can you step back and take a picture of the whole wall? The table is smaller than the art, which is why it doesn’t look right. And the blue chair is way too close to the table, and just looks out of place.

White matte, black frame would be much better. or dark wood. i would remove that blue chair.

I would place nothing on the wall to the right of your console. In addition to having the radiator there, it appears that you have a door on the wall to the left with hinges that will permit the door to swing against that wall. You would want NOTHING there that would obstruct the door’s swing.

You can not do anything on left side cos door opening.

theres actually quite a bit of wall space left that isnt impacted by the door opening. basically where the radiator ends is where the door stops so all the space above the blue chair would not be impacted. it just feels awkward to my eye and i was thinking maybe filling out some of the space would help but it sounds like framing the painting or doing 6 images above the console would help make it look more complete. Ive also toyed with the idea of shelves above the table or scrapping the console table all together and doing a love seat! we just moved in not too long ago and are trying to figure out the best way to utilize the space. Thanks to all for your input!

You need a larger console table and there is plenty of space for it if you lose the blue chair. It’s to the art, it’s the scale of the art wrt the table.

You are showing ONE wall. Show the entire space, draw it and measure each and every wall. Show the entire room.

Would you consider a larger console? That looks a little bit small for the area. You can find great pieces on Facebook marketplace if money is a concern. That would help balance the space.

I still stand by removing the blue chair, you could swap it to where the guitar is, and hang the guitar on the wall.

I just realized the TV should be over the console and the art should be over the fireplace. I am telling you now that would solve everything .
