What is that recess in the wall above the TV? Is that bit of black a floor outlet or just some random trash?

Float couch in front of tv & chair on either side of couch, Floor lamp at window & chair.

Build in a long, low console under the tv along the whole wall, or get a very narrow, long console to sit under the tv. Float a sofa facing the tv, with a chair on the right side of the tv facing in, and another chair near the other end of the sofa facing the fireplace. Or you could use a sectional with the long part facing the tv and the short part facing the fireplace.

The recess just has a canned light in it, and the spots on the floor are outlets.

Lower the TV so that the center of the screen is at eye level when you are seated and then get a cabinet that sits right below the TV to hide wires and give you some storage I would do 2 sofas one facing the TV and one facing the FP a nice coffee table and good pot lighting since hiding electrical cords will be an issue unless you go with a really large rug Any more help will need a to scale floor plan and some info as to how many seats you need. Do you not have another space like a FR for the TV Maybe some idea of the whole floor plan

Since you have some floor outlets, use a sofa and sofa table to sit at one of them and have lamp(s) on it. If there are other floor outlets, use a table and two chairs, plus lamp there. Get a credenza 25% wider than the TV to go under it. When you have extra cash, I would drywall that recess closed, but you may be able to tap into the wiring and add an art lamp above a really nice, big piece of art on that wall. Not a fan of clocks as decor unless they're authentic antique ones. We have digital time keepers everywhere today. Replace it with art to add interest and color to your space.

You might be able to easily put a long console under the TV, and have a sectional facing the TV or have two sofas in an L shape. Here are some ideas for you from our designs.

I'd put the TV over the fireplace then have the seating face the FP/TV. Float the seating arrangement in the center of the room and ground it with a large area rug.
