I need to replace the flooring in my basement. The previous owners had installed indoor-outdoor carpeting but I defitely don';t want to go that route.

I was thinking of vinyl planks but I have seen some posts saying the flooring always looked dirty even immediately after cleaning.

So questions - are there brands that isn't an issue? What brands in general are recommended? Or so I go with a different flooring altogether. There was a water problem but that;s been remediated and there hasn't been any moisture issues since then.
