Full or half wall board and batten?

Hello,
We are going to be painting our bedroom walls aesthetic white (off white with just enough depth to go against white trim)
Behind our bed, we are either going to be doing full or half wall board and batten and painting it a bright white. I can't decide if we should do full wall (see inspo photo) or half wall (see inspo photo). We are getting all new furniture. Our bedroom currently is the first photo. I've also attached our basement we've recently redone with the sake colour palette were doing in the bedroom..
Thank you!

I like your plan to go with off-white. New board and batten behind the bed should take the height of the headboard into consideration. My gut reaction is that the b and b should be taller than the headboard. Maybe somebody can do a mockup.

A full height b and b makes me think of old fashioned wood panelling.

I'm thinking I'm going to go with the half wall. But I want the walls to be slightly darker then the white board and batten like my basement ( see photo above) also, how much higher then the headboard should the paneling be

I went a little higher than halfway on mine and it makes my ceiling feel higher (its 8’). Of course, I havent painted my ceiling yet so we’ll see if it still feels that way when I’m done, lol! I went back and forth on tall vs. 3/4 way but because the other walls were going to be dark I felt it would get ‘lost’ and

Sorry, the ‘post’ button is in a bad spot on my iPad and I can’t find a way to edit the other one? Anyways….

I was going to post a pic to show how high I went. I didnt want the wall to look like the headboard itself, which sometimes when the colors are similar I feel they do..

I like a full wall. The room doesn't seem super large from the picture so I think a half or not full wall will cut up the room more. A full wall would give cleaner lines and make it appear larger.

Okay guys! So we've painted the room aesthetic white (it's night time time just overhead lighting) we will be installing the board and batten on the bed wall and initially was going to go 2/3 up the wall but we realized that it may be too high to hang a small photo above.. 65 inches? So if we go high we won't have anything g above. Our other idea was to go just slightly over half and make a ledge out of the board and batten and put a few photos on it. What do you think? See a few photos of ideas

Which height should my board and batten be .. the top tape is 6 feet, middle is 63 inches and lowest is top of headboard height. Ceilings are 8 feet.
