Is this an existing septic system or ae you building a new one.

Check out You Tube. Theres lots of videos on this from people buying houses to homesteaders putting in their own septics or doing it partially and having part of the work hired out. Your building codes in your county will determine what you can and cant do. Usually if you are having a septic put in a new location, they will do a Perk Test first. Then if that is ok they will allow a Permit to be drawn to put in the septic. Then the actual project will be done and inspected.
