Neat place. Does it come with the Corvair(?)?

It would be a challenging place to turn into housing (at least more acceptable housing than what is there now). Is it legally a residence? Why does that ceiling remind me of asbestos? :)

It's just high 70s commercial dropped ceiling, I think, in a dark color like you would use with brutalism.

The living areas look very clean. I wonder if it is a superannuated hippie who lives there.

One of my friends who lived in something like this became a millionaire I think, just by selling something a developer wanted. Temporarily, anyway, before the capital gains taxes.

Reminiscent of an area where I used to live, but this structure looks sturdy unlike the rather flimsy wood-frame summer vacation cabins that had been converted into full-time residences. I find the ambience comforting.

I have the same shaker clock as in the fourth photo.

This brings back all sorts of memories and dreams for me. My ideal home at one time in my life, like in the 60's. My other favorite dream home from that age was Maude's Pullman home.

I enjoy watching Escape to the Country, and some of the old barns that they haven't converted yet look beyond help, yet when they're done, they're fabulous. I suspect this place could be as well. Love the prayer flags in the kitchen!

One of my good friends in Wales converted a barn with animal stalls to vacation rental cottages. They were very nice, because the basic framework was so solid and finely crafted.
