I’ve got a problem with brush turkeys digging up my garden so I’ve put grids over my (bathtub) rockmelon beds. I now have the sum total of two fruit, both of which have formed in the grids. Does anyone know whether the fruit should develop and ripen in this shape so that I can harvest them after cutting them in half? Has this ever happened to your fruit and ended well? I had to laugh when I saw them. here is a pic of just one melon.
