Or on the home depot website for example, it will say whether it comes with the drain attachment. You should be able to do a filter to see the ones that come with one.

Any drain that comes with a sink should be able to be easily removed and replaced with what you want.

I have had pop up sink drains that lost their pop early on.

Thanks @flopsycat1 - honestly i don't envision myself ever really needing to stop this powder room drain.... moreso like the ease of cleaning it out from a push option instead of the more complicated pop up system...?

@chispa - what happens to the pop up lever thing on the faucet then? just exists but not used?

The photos show the drain in the open position. To keep the water in the sink, press (depress) the center. The center twists off if you want to remove for cleaning.

I just got this vanity and the sink is quite small (not deep). I ordered a Delta Nicoli faucet for it but when it arrived realized spout was way too high and would prob splash water everywhereeeee

We're not fans of motion sensor faucets. We prefer Tapmasters which we have installed on every faucet in our house except for our guest bath faucet.

The reason we didn't install a Tapmaster in our guest faucet is because it's next to our kitchen and used often by guests. We found many guests are intimidated when they can't figure out how to turn on the faucet, so we just left this one a manual faucet without a Tapmaster.

@Kathryn B, in my previous house I was able to find faucets that had no lever. Some brands will give you a choice. This time around I went with Brizo and they didn't offer a no lever option. You can either screw it down with a kit they send or caulk in place. You just need to tell any overnight guest how to use the drain, so they don't try to move a non-functioning lever.

I had some of the CalFaucet Zero Drain that I used for around 7 years and they never lost their motion. I did find that the ones in less used bathrooms got stiff when not used regularly, but easily fixed by removing the stopper and lubricating. It took 4 years for those to get stiff and need to be adjusted.

I have Pfister with pop ups in my bathrooms. You’re so right, so easy to clean! Just cleaned one. Screw left, pull out and clean it out.

I put California Faucet Zero Drains I both of my bathrooms. I find that with our hard water, I must spray with silicon spray about every six months. We don’t use the pop-down function very often, and I usually decide to pull up the drain plug to clean out any hair hanging down from it, find it no longer functions to push down, then spray it with silicone spray. Once, I took the plug to my chair with a couple of tools and paper towels, and picked at white deposits until I got it cleaned and the spray could penetrate and lubricate so it could function. I need to just soak them in vinegar and water, instead, next time I clean them.

My half bath has a Victoria and Albert synthetic stone vessel sink. We ordered the sink, drain, and faucet at the same time from a bath showroom, so if my Zero Drain was supposed to come with a more tapered flange around the drain hole, it is not on us for getting a wrong model. Anyway, the Zero Drain we have rises a little bit above the bottom of the sink, leaving a little pool of water around the drain. We get a crusty (but invisible on the white sink) circle where that pool edge sits. I have to clean it with vinegar and water every few months to get my shiny sink bottom back again. That is the level of mineral deposit I am dealing with here.
