Looks like stan and I are both 10a. Today warmed up a bit, but it has been chilly the previous week or 10 days at least in Southern Calif.

We've had a couple of below freezing nights and I keep forgetting to cover my succulents until after dark!

We hit 35f three nights in a row. First night no problems..by the third some plants like Ti have some leaves looking sanded a bit. So far I haven't seen anything blackened.

That's a good winter when we get lots of rain,snow in the Sierras..and no frost!

Noticed today that one plant looks a bit wilted. I'll pluck that part off and hope that's all I get!

Looks good. All the foliage is so healthy. I'm doing the winter trim back. Composting whatever I can and both Greenwaste bins full again.

Sadly, no rain for a month now in NorCA and there's absolutely no sign that anything is coming down in the next two weeks at least.....

Sigh. Still a drought.

Hope for a miracle March. They have happened. As every year goes by since 2000 it's getting to where gardening as we used to do it is fading away. Its go dry ( plants) or die...the hobby that is.

Not many articles about moss gardens in California like when I was young. Misters...

We're getting our Miracle March 2023!! We'll see how many plants have survived all this rain...
