kitchen remodel faucet advice please

Hi! I need to choose a faucet for my kitchen remodel. What do I need to know?

Can you please share top/better brands, nuances to avoid, recommendations?

Not sure if this helps or not … sink will be Kraus 30’’ undermount…kitchen is white shaker, gold/brass hardware, leaning more warm traditional/transitional (not necessarily modern/contemporary). I ask about nuances to be aware of or avoid because a while back I saw a post that a person made a mistake choosing their faucet because the arch was too high that caused splashing issues or something. I want to be able to spray the sink but not sure if I need a separate sprayer or if built into faucet head works just as well. Appreciate anything you can share.

Recommendations, Lessons learned all welcome!

We have a Delta Essa with the touch control that was installed (with a Create Good Sinks sink) and love it. The touch takes a bit of getting used to but so far no issues. Ours is matte black. It is a pull down and doesn't splash. It could be because our sink is really deep (10") but I think it's just a good design. We did just need to replace the "touch" feature but the plumber said this is the first time he's had an issue with a Delta touch faucet and their customer service was great. Oh-we also have a Never MT detergent pump and LOVE it. The Essa is, to me, an in-between style. Not too plain but not fancy. Our sink is stainless, our counters are marble look quartz and our cabinets will be some color once we make a decision (we've hit the color looking wall). My sister has a Hansgroghe faucet and it took months (this was pre-pandemic) to get the very expensive replacmenet piece.

Hi, no matter what you buy, save the parts list. Makes it so much easier to get repair parts.

We have a Delta touch faucet at one of our places. My wife never did like it while I did, although I inadvertently turn it on all the time. We have a counter behind the sink so almost anytime I'm reaching to place something there I hit the faucet.

For our home remodel, we found something new we think we will both like.

This Kohler is touchless, you wave you hand under the arch to turn it on off. Bumping the faucet doesn't turn it on. Hoping this will be the ticket. BTW the actual price is more like $630.

Thank you all! I’m looking into each model and funny I hadn’t really considered touch control for the faucet so I’m glad I asked or the Create Goods sink.. in fact I hadn’t seen Create Goods mentioned when I researched sinks. The faucets are really nice and great advice on keeping the parts list!

I had originally settled on a Ruvati sink that was backordered. the countertop template was moved up do i was scrambling! I had heard of Create Good Sinks but was trying to keep costs down. After MORE reasearch i decided to go with the CGS workstation 36” i am so glad i did. Customer service was great and the sink is everything i hoped it would be
