Yes, it's no longer pitch-dark at 4:30 p.m. here anymore - it makes the .3m/1' of snow easier to navigate through. I'm still not wearing shorts yet, however. Thanks for that, Tyler - I hadn't seen it before.

Yesterday I was out with my dog and I swear I could see Spring on the horizen. I know it’s early, but I could feel it.

I’m glad you posted that calculator because I lost it and could not remember the name🙂. It’s a cool little calculator you can put anywhere in the world and it’s easy to read imo. Up here we‘ve gained about 30 mins. The gain is noticeable because it’s still light at 5pm and about a month ago it was dark by 5pm👎.

Not much is going on here, but my Christmas cactus was in full bloom on Christmas.

Kara sent me the link to that site years ago and I saved it to my phone’s home screen. I just happened to think about it & looked at it today & was pleasantly surprised. Unfortuantely, its not any warmer yet, but longer days are always a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

I took my dog to the beach on Saturday. I didn’t wear shorts but I did wear cropped pants & sandals! It was a nice sunny day and luckily didn’t rain at all last week so we were good to go. We usually go every weekend. Its his day to really get out & rip and run & swim.

That Christmas cactus is beautiful.

The plants know too. We have a way to go yet, hoping for more rain here in California.

I appreciate longer days, the few minutes of daylight at this time again finally when I get home, but as the angle rises, the rays reach less far into/across the room. Soon I'll start to notice the worst of the winter etiolation.
