We sided our house in Hardie Monterey Taupe last year. It is a gorgeous color..highly recommended!

This is probably Autumn Tan, not Monterey Taupe. Monterey Taupe has way more brown in it.

I agree. Autumn Tan Not Monterey Taupe which has some greenish tone.

Our house is James Hardie Monterey Taupe. Sherwin Williams can match the color exactly. Just make sure to order the satin finish as light reflection can change how color reads. FYI..go with softer white on the trim for a richer look. Also, Ben Moore Valley Forge Tan is very similar and another great color. We are often asked for our house color ....best of luck!

I can completely understand why you would think so. The garage looks very different in the picture than it does in real life. Here is a street view of the home that gives you a better look. We, Case Design, did not work on the main house which is why we weren't posting pictures of it. Hope this helps.
