Ikea pax wardrobe gap

My husband and I recently bulilt an ikea pax wardrobe for our master walk in closet. However, we are left with a 5 inch wide gap between the wardrobes (theyre 93 inch high, 23 depth) we were thinking of trying to create some type of hidden pull out tray, similar to a spice rack, and pull out tie organizer. we would like to hide it with some slim cabinet door. Any thoughts or ideas about how we could execute this so it all looks neat and flush? thank you!

It doesn't look like anyone responded but I have the same problem too! Ha! I’m thinking of adding a (wide) piece of lattice and installing some hooks.

Can we see the layout in the space I am wondering why you designed this with a space in the center so I need to see what you have. I think the idea is great for ties but I am not sure what to use for the door . What doors do you have on the rest of the closets ? Pics please

Did you find a solution? I just had my closet put in and I have the exact same problem!

Kelly post your photos. The op should have moved their two towers together or added a filler between.

To allow my french door fridge to fully open i needed a six inch gap between the door and fridge and ikea tall pantry. I built a simple tall three sided plywood box, used white MDF that match the ikea cabinets to make a filler door and bought wheels so it rolls out when open. I use it as storage my mop and cleaning stuff.
