It's going to depending on the lighting in your space, along with everything else (copper sink and lanterns isn't enough info to go on).

Maybe one of the color experts will stop by with a general "safe" recommendation. Of course, it might not work with your floors, your countertop, and your lighting.

If you have looked at a million creams and don't like any of them, check your lighting to make sure it's the color temperature you want. You'll need a lot of bulbs. It's pretty dark this time of year in Canada.

Paint can be so tricky cause it changes in every space.

Long story, but the oven was placed in a cabinet that wasnt a proper oven cabinet. The oven caught on fire (not pictured), resulting in the need to replace that cabinet. The sink is a unique antique that was placed in a custom cabinet, meaning we have to cut the current granite to access the sink cabinet to size it for a new sink (the old sink size is near impossible to find).

After needing to replace the oven cabinet, the sink cabinet, and the granite, thereby having to take out the backsplash, I just decided to remodel the entire kitchen!

Is it possible to pick up a few quarts of your top choices..paint a scrap and hold it up in the area.
You are understandably overwhelmed.

I went through a LOT of sample pots to find the right cream for our very dark kitchen.

My first thought for you is Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee, as someone else posted above. it is the color in one of my favorite kitchens by Studio McGee.

Other Benjamin Moore colors to consider are...

Pale Oak

Feather Down

I ended up choosing Maritime White. I really like Edgecomb Grey in most locations and thought I would use that on our cabinets, but my cursed kitchen is just too gloomy and it turned muddy.

@JJ Jensen- Is your cabinet maker making your cabinets from scratch?

Or just repainting the ones you already have that have paint on them?

I am asking because I thought kitchen cabinets made ab initio are not supposed to be painted with paint at all, but coated x 2 with a special coating made especially for cabinets.

Is your cabinet maker a woodworker or really a kitchen cabinetmaker?

Shouldn't he know this?

I don't understand why asking for a color would lead to any assumption about process or products being used!

Her cabinet maker asked her for a color. He didnt ask her how to finish, or what finish to use. How you jumped to that conclusion is beyond me.
