Hi all, would appreciate some advice. Our unfinished basement is being painted this week (no need to debate pros and cons of this 😂) and I just found out our painter chose to use exterior paint on the walls (sherwin Williams duration exterior). I’m told by sherwin Williams rep that after 30 days it won’t smell and that it’s just an odor not toxins, but I don’t really believe her based on what I’m reading online. What do you think? Should I ask them to paint over it with interior paint to seal?
