Thanks but there wasn’t anything on Matouk that spoke to me. My designer gets a substantial trade discount from them and so my net cost would be very low. I wish they had something I liked 🤷‍♀️

Have you looked at Etsy for embroidered pillow cases from Portugal, Spain, etc.?

@Lyndee Lee Those are quite pretty and at one time I collected vintage linens. I am not sure they will actually function well in terms of being washed and dried on a frequent basis.

Definitely try etsy. There probably are people who still embroider pillowcase, just as it is easy to find those who knit baby blankets or sew aprons. You could also scout estate sales for vintage ones. I have quite a few pillowcases that various mothers, gradmas, and aunties decorated that I decided to use them and wear them out--I save up the ironing until I have several pairs to do.

I have had good luck with vintage percale pillowcases. 

Etsy seems like a good source for custom linens. You can't be the only person who would be interested in them so there is bound to be some sellers. With the features available on modern electronic sewing machines, machine embroidery is amazing

Really ther eis nothing eadier to make than pillow cases find a fabric you love and get some made You post no pics so how are we to even guess at your style IMO the most over priced thing is fancy pillowcases and BTW often they are not made to be washed all the time Can we see your space and your bedding then maybe we can give better help. I sure would not choose real vintage stuff if washing weekly is the aim.

I don’t like cushions either, but to create a more finished look, we have shams vs pillow cases and use four.

Suggest 4 shams and you can easily stencil the top two.
