I am trying to install a metal shelf onto a single slot track. The brackets have a flange on them to prevent wiggling to the sides. Pictures here. The brackets can be found here. Naturally, the teeth should be sunk into the slots, but the bracket stops short of being completely settled into the slots. There is a small metal piece (I am guessing this is the flange?) on the teeth side that stops the teeth from sinking all the way in.
If I push the bracket onto the slots as much as the teeth allow, it will fall off. Am I supposed to simply hammer this bracket into the slots until the little metal piece bends or am I missing some necessary tool?
