Try a sunburst mirror

Am thinking that rectangular artwork would not look out of place above your headboard especially if you place it high enough and their is adequate space between the headboard and the artwork. Might even suggest that the artwork be frameless. Good luck!

You could hang three small pieces and hang the middle one a little higher than the other two if this looks more right to you.

Two vertical rectangular pieces hung side by side would work nicely.

Or hang two smaller prints, slightly offset. Mock-up in a second.

Two or one. Both ok in different ways.

I personally am not a big fan of anything over the headboard, but I realize I am not everyone :) . So, you can get many many ideas by entering the words art over headboard in the search bar on houzz, and then choose "art over headboard in photos" in the list that will appear. Good luck!

wallpaper will certainly add to bedroom. A light floral very subtly picking up color of wall will be nice. Otherwise, go with three pics horizontally at same level
