What has inspired you to change what is there? Is the current porch poured concrete that is deteriorating? I think we would benefit from a close up picture of the front porch also. Bluestone is more gray than blue, but as with all projects, you need to have a sample of the material to look at next to the existing conditions in order to know if it will work. I am sceptical about the brick because if it doesn't match the brick on your first floor that won't look good.

Yes, it is concrete and it's crumbling all over. It's also about 4' high so we need to decide what to do with the exposed front (although hopefully will be somewhat covered once we landscape)
