Sorry, I was not thinking too much about details, just getting the pictures to upload..

The cabinets are made by Northtimber and are driftwood grey, The countertop is Sea Pearl Quartzite. I dont remember what brand the floor is, but it is LVP (lifetime warranty), and the color is coastal grey. Backsplash is Lazio Brick made by MSI. All of the appliances are LG. There is also a bunch of Rev-a-shelf add ins (pull out trash cans, 2 pull out spice racks (3" and 5", pull out cabinet organizer) I also added the slide a shelf pull outs to the pantry. Both rev a shelf and slide a shelf stuff is great. Everything is soft close as well. I did add LED cabinet light strips to the very top and under (govee). Not exactly what I was looking for, (I wanted something a little brighter) but they work and are controlled by Alexa.

I detest the word dated. Great kitchen and the back splash is perfect. The colors and pattens flow well.

Agree that the backsplash fits this kitchen really well. I love your cabinet and counter choices and had you done nothing else, your ceiling change alone would have been a great transformation.

Regarding your refrigerator: Is it counter-depth?

I'm planning on having my refrigerator at the end of a run that way, and the idea of it being exposed on the side(s) weighs on me a bit. I was assuming I would need to add side panels to give more of a built-in look. I was hoping to get a standard depth refrigerator and it will have a standard base and wall cabinet on the other side, not a tall pantry style like you have, which I guess makes a difference.

But when I look at your pictures, I think that leaving it open might not be as big a deal as I think it is. Your kitchen looks beautiful just the way it is.

Did you have any pros and cons that went in to your decision, or was this set-up your plan from the beginning?
