Looks like the rest of the plan needs work too, and not just what I suggest below.

Or at least retain the door to the master bedroom. I don't see how you would gain anything by eliminating it. You have a nice linen closet in the hall already so you probably don't need more storage.

Many people do not like, and I try to avoid, a master bathroom that is used by guests. Avoid views into a bathroom from other spaces.

I second the idea to make it into two 5 x 11 bathrooms. I hope to do this exact thing in my house.

A good solution may effect other spaces outside of the ones shown.

If you decide to make 2 full baths instead of one, something like this might work:

With space being a concern, if you do a separate en suite for the master, use one sink and a larger vanity.
