Only you can tell if the cream and white will clash.

But my dressers are Antique brown..won't that clash?

Have you thought about getting an antique table and then bleaching it? (not sure that is the right term) it will not be stark white and will blend with your antique dressers better. I love the idea you are using antique dressers.

They were my grandmother's.. That might be a good idea.. bleaching it a cream color to match headboard..

I have a vintage dresser and armoire which are a medium brown wood. I have cream walls and rose and teal furniture and drapes so I do think you can mix colors/

I think the color is less important than the style of the dressing table as I am having trouble picturing it all working together as a modern white table might be a discordant design element based on style. What is the style of the bed - I have vintage bedroom furniture mixed with new stuff but all of them have elements stylistically that relate to each other. Cream upholstered bed would register differently than a cream wood bedframe in terms of how all of the elements worked together.

You would receive advice that is more helpful if you posted pictures of your current furniture including the bed and the headboard as well as your proposed new dressing table.

I agree with Helen. An antique vanity might be just the thing that you need. What style are your dressers?

Can we see a photo of what you call "antique brown dressers"? The time line would influence your choice for a complimentary look.

    1930 art deco?

Thankyou so much.. They were my grandmother's from many moons ago . I.dont like the handles want to change them ....The white makeup table will be next to the one of the dressers...not next to the bed..I have a white bedspead ..but maybe some beige or brown tones would accent the bed.. and blend well with the room..I'm no professional not even close..Any help is appreciated..Ty

I think the brown makeup vanity would maybe clash.. I do lime this one too.. what are your thoughts..

I don't think I personally would go with the white dressing table you posted as it looks too similar and yet not in a complementary way.

I might go for something unexpected in terms of the vanity table rather than essentially the same style which - at least to my amateur eyes - appears to be almost colonial. It like as if they are trying to match but they don't quite match.

You might take a look at something very modern for your vanity table and prehaps in an unexpected material like a mirror so that it isn't wood stain or painted wood.
