Hi all. We’re installing penny tile in our upstairs bathroom and I’m wrestling a bit with what to do for the transition. The house was built in 1919 so there’s a bit of damage to the outside piece of hardwood (pictured) but I’m wondering there’s a way around this that would let me use the thin metal dividers (pictured). My husband doesn’t seem to think so and suggested using a metal transition strip (pictured).

Definitely new at this so any input is greatly appreciated!
