If you need the light it provides, consider frosted window film that lets light in while blocking their view.

I used window film on the lower 2/3 of casement windows about that size in a bathroom. It’s nice to be able to see out the top, but that depends on how close your neighbors are. Plus, you wouldn’t lose any natural light. Good luck.

I got simple café curtains from Vermont Country Store and hung them using tension rods. They give you all the privacy you need and still allow sunlight.

Hey, I recommend you getting fabric roman shades. These will eliminate the privacy issue, and depending on what light-filtering option you choose, you can still let some natural lighting into your home!

Without seeing a picture, I am answering from a privacy standpoint. . it sounds like whatever you choose will have to be ”closed” all of the time. Therefore, I would choose a pretty Roman shade in colors that complement your decor. .….. I would choose lighter colors that would let some natural light show through. I would also choose a pleated style that would keep the horizontal pleats when hanging down, and not just look like a straight piece of fabric perhaps you could find a pretty fabric with colors from your shower curtain, towels, vanity accessories etc. There are lots of online patterns to make them, or if you are not a DIYer, a bath window should not be too expensive to have custom made.
