Shower Design Help needed

We are ripping out a 30 x 60 inch tub in our master bathroom and installing a shower with sliding glass doors instead. Is it worth doing a double shower head (one on each 30 x wall)? Also, should we include a built in bench, and if so, where should it be located?

A dual shower head shower is really meant for a much larger footprint. I think you should do one showerhead and maybe include a diverter with a handshower, too. Here's a shower we did that's roughly the same size as yours:

To make the shower feel larger, consider doing a curbless shower like this one, and use just a single glass panel instead of a sliding door.

Absolutely include a place to sit. Either a built in bench or a beautiful teal bench. I decided on a fold down teak bench as I just needed a small seating area.

Our shower was 4x4 and had 2 showerheads plus some body sprays. W have enjoyed having water spraying on us from all over. currently in the process of redoing the bathroom and making the shower a little larger. we’re going to have a showerhead on the wall, along with a hand held, and opposite that, body sprays, and on the ceiling, a rain head. i will likely use the wall showerhead together with the body sprays most often, but wanted the rainshower option as well. if youre thinking you want to do it, it will be difficult to try to add later.

I don't think 30 X 60 is large enough for two shower heads unless one is on the wall and the other is a rainshower head from the ceiling. I guess you could do bodysprays also, but I've never used a shower with them and it just isn't something that appeals to me. As for the bench, I had a tiled one in my previous bathroom but when I remodeled my current master bath last year I didn't put one in. I think a small portable teak bench is more flexible and takes up less room.

I remodeled and replaced the tub/shower with a walk in shower that followed the footprint of the original shower.

I have a built in bench and it is one of the parts of my remodel which I enjoy the most. In my experience it is far better than some kind of freestanding stool or bench because in a relatively small shower it doesn't add clutter and doesn't have to be cleaned around. It is large enough to be comfortable as well as provide stability in the event you actually need it after a medical proecedure.

At the suggestion of my designer I had a hand held shower installed by the bench so that it can be used when I am sitting. I also have a standard shower head and a hand held shower head at the other end.

I don't think two standard shower heads make much functional sense in a relatively small shower as most people want to move away from a shower head at some point in the showering experience. Also I don't see two people actually using separate shower heads in the space especially if there is a bench. However I am in California where the question is moot since you cannot have more than one source of water in a shower that can be operated at the same time so only one shower head OR a hand held shower but not multiples at the same time - I have a three way diverter that enables me to select the source of water.
