We just bought a home (2 structures) with epoxy flooring with zoned radiant floor heat using a FTV boiler from NTI controlling this. We have a total of 4 zoned thermostats plus 2 HVAC thermostats for heat backup (never have used) as well as for our aircon during summer. Looking to upgrade the contractor grade thermostats hopefully to fewer controllers to make management of the zones a bit easier and to help save some money. This is our first home with a boiler, and it has worked far better than we expected but our first gas bill was a bit of a shell shock so guessing we need to be a bit smarter about all the features a smart thermostat can automate. We don't have time usually to adjust 6 units multiple times a day so hoping to find an Ecobee or Nest that can manage it all; or at least a couple of them instead of 6.
