Barn doors aren’t meant to seal. Replace it with an actual exterior home door.

Appreciate the repsonese but I purposely replaced this with an exterior door based on tight narrow path door enters into hallway.

If this is between a house and a garage, it will not pass any inspection, because its out of code. A garage door to a livable home, is required to be fire rated.

Barn doors can not be sealed, period. Bonehead decision.

Hope you never need to make a claim as your home owners insurance will never payout because of that.

We have the same thing with our door to the garage - when it is open, it is almost touching the opposite wall because that hallway is narrow. But so what - the door to the garage is open for 5 minutes max, if we are getting groceries or something out of the car. Most of the time it is only open for the time that is needed to exit or enter the house, like a minute or less. We have the required steel fire door; it makes a satisfying suction sound when you close it. It also keeps out the cold garage air very nicely. Change back your barn door to a steel fire-rated Code-compliant garage door, and live with the 5 minutes a day the hallway might be blocked by it when it is open.

I expect that in the summer, you'll be getting a lot of insects coming in via that barn door too.

Unless code has been specifically amended by your AHJ, you can buy a prehung steel (foam core) exterior door for about $170 pandemic price, and add a self-closing hinge for about $10. It will already have all the weatherstripping seals you need.
