Home Decorating Design Dilemma Gym

Gym Layout Help

We are converting a play room into a small gym. We would like to have a mirror wall, as well as a feature wall. We will be also adding a wall mounted tv. The question is: what would be the best wall for mirrors and what would be the best wall to have as a feature wall? We will place 2 Peloton bikes in the room, as well as some dumbbells. Each bike footprint is 24"x46". We will be also adding ceiling recessed lights, a celling fan and we will paint the walls light grey. The feature wall, which will have some kind of wood trim/work/design will be painted charcoal. We need to decide ASAP and this will affect the location of the bikes and tv in the room. The closet is currently our kids toy storage.

I think you need to decide which way you want your bikes to face, and what you want to look at while you're riding them. That will tell you how to do your walls.

I want to look at the tv mounted on the wall. I don't care which wall that is. Mostly, I am thinking about the best way to reflect the window and the recessed ceiling lights to add depth and light into the room.

Would it be better, visually and aesthetically, to have the mirrors opposite to the entry door or opposite to the window?

You might want to insist on this thread Questions about Gyms by Emily H last year. Good luck.
