My two boys have roller shades in their rooms right now (rooms are about 10’x14’) but they hit the side of the window or sill alllll night long with their ceiling fan in use. They sleep with the ceiling fan all year long. I’ve tried taping the bottom metal rod to the sill, and while that works for the night, it’s a pain to do each night and to throw away the tape each morning.

I am willing to get them all new blackout shades. Which Hunter Douglass shades are heavy enough NOT to blow in the fan breeze??? Are the blackout honeycomb???
