My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Is the hood vent mounted 40” above the stove or standard 36” here?

    We completed this project over a decade ago, so I am not sure of the exact dimension, but this kitchen is very unique. It was designed as a personal residential kitchen for a professional chef. The hood was likely commercial grade with increased CFM. It was installed as per the manufacturer's instructions at the time, so it may be installed higher than the standard.
