    What about something like this

I would go with your first example, but I would eliminate one of the sinks.  I think the placement of the single sink in thr second example will be awkward.

I wouldn't access the WIC from the bathroom but from the bedroom if at all possible. Say you need to grab a jacket and your spouse is using the toilet. Do you really want to go through the bath to access the closet. Never mind the odors, and potential for moisture, mold & mildew.

Is there another entrance to the walk-in closet?

I wish there was but there isnt any other entrance

Ok. So, I'd go with one sink next to the toilet.

It doesn't look like you have enough room around the toilet in your drawing. That's why people are advising only one sink. Check your local code for what the required minimum spacing is before you buy a vanity. What is the rectangle next to the toilet (not the shower)?

One sink for a bathroom this size. It's not possible for two people to move comfortably in this space and there is no counter space for any products.

I would never spend the $$ to remodel and not use an elongated toilet.

The door into your closet should be from the bedroom, not from the bathroom. Moisture can seep into your closet under the door, when closed, and any time the closet door is opened.
To protect your clothing, close up the bathroom/closet door. Open a new door to the closet from your bedroom. If you need to rearrange your hanging space in the closet when you open the new door (and close the other door), so be it.

Thanks everyone! I did some reconfiguring.....how does this look?

Nope. Post the whole section of the house. You should never ever have a closet with the only entrance from the bathroom. That needs to be fixed before you worry about any bath layout.

Are the doorways scaled correctly in the drawing?

Can you put plumbing in a wall that has a pocket door slot?

I think the only time that you can have a closet accessesed from the bathroom is when you have a WC otherwise you run into problems with any other occupant using the bathroom. There are huge arguments about the closet through the bathroom design. Anybody who has it says its fine, the people who do not have that layout swear that you have moisture problems and probably stinky clothes. The correct Hvac configuration mitigates the “potential” problem. Find the post from last week on the subject.

Keep the original simple 3-piece bath layout. You have plenty of space for these three pieces, but you don't have space for more. If you go turning the sink sideways, etc., you're only going to create too little walking space. Trying to squish in too much will only lead to regret -- you've gotta work with the space you have, not the space you wish you had.

This vanity isn't large enough to support duplicate sinks; well, you can get them in, but to do so will take away ALL your drawer storage at the sink, and you have no other storage (no linen closet) in this bathroom. A single sink will leave you with one centered, good-sized sink and a bank of drawers for each spouse.

Your proportions look "off" in the original picture. Your doorways look too small, and your toilet looks oversized. Better to double-check those dimensions -- measure twice, you know.

Two sinks in a bathroom only large enough for one person at a time makes no sense.

This bathroom isn’t big enough for 2 sinks.

I have had a closet off my bathroom for 20+ years in 3 houses with zero issues. (I have always had a WC too).

    I like Karen’s idea.

Do yourself a favor and hire a professional designer. Especially with a bathroom. All of this advice is only going to cost you time and extra money to fix.
