Do you realize these doors offer you no sound privacy and cannot be locked? Seems like the wrong solution for a Master Bedroom.

Can't vote for any of it. It's just not an appropriate application of a BARN door. Get actual double doors and trim them out if you need the decorative aspect. Where does this room open into? If a bedroom open directly into a common space the doors are most often kept closed.

Terrible idea, no matter if single or double. Put them on the shed out back, not any room where privacy or light control is desired.

Alternate solutions.

I am not needing it to lock as it leads from my master bedroom into the suite bathe where I have a separate water closet that locks. The master suite is very well lit with lighting as well as natural lighting and from the attached pictures you can see that it is a design style that people use. The doorway is only 36 “ which I included in my original post so none of the options above will work. I current have the 2 narrow double doors (which do not lock) and are horrible looking and difficult to close and open. Pocket door is not an option due to the wiring and plumbing in the walls ( or his was the first option I looked into). I only had a simple question which was if I could use doors bigger that what my door opening called for. I guess I will speak with a contractor or a designer to get the feedback I was looking for. I

Many of those details were not in your first post and make a big difference, However, barn doors because of they details are very casual in appearance and are suited to the Modern Farmhouse style. If that's the look you want then go for it.

My son bought a townhouse with a barn door to the master bath. Replacing it with a proper door is high on his list of improvements he wants to make.

But hey, it's your house, do whatever makes you happy. Make the doors as wide as you have room for - remembering that those wide doors will make part of the wall inaccessible (to clean, paint, vacuum, etc).
