Front Fourier redo!!

We Will be renovating our front Fourier. Currently colors are browns and tans from the former owner. I would like some thing lighter and brighter and more welcoming. Looking for ideas of paint, stairway carpet, and most important is a new front door! We have little to no natural light. Front porch roof let’s in no sun. Suggestions welcome, nothing is a MUST stay.

@Erika-Cloutier9 Here are some threads on the same topic: 1- Does a foyer need to flow with the main floor decor? 2- How to decorate my foyer?

I like this entryway design with medium-wood stairs and a glass door that will allow for the natural light to filter in: "Clark Street Mediterranean Entry". Good luck with your project ;)
