Looking for pillow suggestions for my master bedroom

Hey everyone. I'm cooking for ideas on pillow types/colours/sizes etc that would look good in the bedroom. Thank you!

So white sheets/bed pillow cases. Then another set of bed pillows in decorative shams, finished with a decorative lumbar pillow…all done in coordinating white/grey/silver and a cool color such as blue, pink, purple

That’s a pretty bed, what size is it? What are some colors you like? Are you planning on adding any other bedding?

This is using sleeping pillows, two Euro shams, and one decorative in front (lumbar style).

This one, they stack the sleepers behind the decorative ones:

    A simpler one:

Jck posted lots of placement ideas … how many pillows would you prefer? I have a lot on my bed — four king pillows, two kings in shams, two smaller square velvet ones, one lumbar. But we use them for reclining in bed, sleeping, etc, so need that many.

Google ’bedding ideas’ and lots of great images come up that might provide inspiration.

With your room having warm wood and cool colors around it, I’d get warmer toned colors for pillows, bring in some color. But that’s just me, you may want everything more monochromatic.

I don’t know your budget, but some good places to find pillows (personal experience): Etsy, West Elm, Pottery Barn, and even Ama-zon.

It's a queen size bed. I'm thinking 5 pillows. I do like the look of a lumbar pillow in front! Do you think it's possible to bring in like a blush/dusty pink kind of colour? Like similar to this?

Very pretty! I always love blush/dusty pink. :)

    Yes to pink/blush

    A few from etsy

So you really want to deal with extraneous pillows every morning and evening.

Get attractive linen for your actual sleeping pillows and forget all of the extraneous bed decor. I got some pricey stuff in terms of trimmed pillow cases that coordinate with my duvet cover and they dress up the bed sufficiently without my having to deal with pillows and where they go and positioning them only to take them off.

I am not in my bedroom for a sufficient time while the bed is made to have me want to spend more time than necessary to "make the bed". It is why I have a duvet instead of a bedspread and top sheet. I wake up make the bed leave and come home at night and then would have to remove the pillows to get into bed. And then FIND a place for the pillows.

I saw these today. They are so cute! I was thinking of adding in like a darker shade of blue for pop.
