2 things- could you rearrange your couch in front of the window to open the space? That chaise portion of the couch cuts up the room. Second - if you get 2 rugs, maybe turn them a bit on an angle so the room has more flow and makes it less linear.

I think an 8' round rug under the piano would be interesting. Whatever you decide on, try to buy two rugs that are complementary but not identical.

You’re wasting a lot of the rug under the sofa - and it shouldn’t be placed next to the wall. Also, the upright piano needs to be included in the area; right now it feels totally separated from the rest of the room. I think the grand piano needs to be placed at a more pleasing angle; right now it appears slightly askew from the wall (like someone just set it there). I’m not sure it even needs a rug there. A floor plan would be helpful.

The 8x10 sizes of the planned rugs is probably okay, although having the corners of the rugs IN the walking area may be a trip-hazard. The chaise end of the sectional does reduce/block the walking area, which is also blocked by what appears to be a stool. Is that an upright piano across from the sectional? In my opinion, your sectional is too large for the space, and the grand piano is also too large for its area. And the piece of art over the sectional is too small.

You don’t have to use such a large rug under the sofa. Use a smaller one set to the area under the coffee table to function more as an anchor. I agree with earlier post about the direction the chaise faces. It is problematic. Personally I’d consider placing the grand piano tucked into the bay window and moving the sofa toward the current location of the piano. Or just flip the sofa to the wall opposite it where the extra, redundant piano is. That would fix the chaise direction issue also.
