Im also looking at the option of going to a 36x62 window instead of the 36x60 as it also seems brand dependent for meeting egress requirements

It will not be a problem If i measued and installed it. In my area a window on”grade” only needs to meet 5.0 square feet net opening to meet egress.

birchfur; going to a 62” from a 60” can usually always work but you may have to alter your framing and even cut down the block. For most of is Pros every order is custom every rime.

Thanks, the block opening is plenty big. There's 3 stacked 2x4s on the bottom so I could just remove 1 and make a shim to fit.
