Thank you. That’s one of our concerns. Unfortunately, they are just not comfortable. I don’t think the construction is that great.

Do you already own the leather sofa? If not, maybe it could go in your full time home and you could get a sectional for the lakehouse.

My worries with a sectional are lighting. We are not overhead light people but like lamps. I was thinking if we did get a sectional we could put a sofa table behind left side near door and floor lamp at other end. Thoughts?

The back cushions look like the color has changed from the rest of the sofa. Is it just the lighting making it appear that way? They appear almost purple on my screen.

You could also consider a skinny console table behind one or both. I ordered one that is 7.5 wide and 26" high from Etsy (Sawdust Collection was the vendor) to be able to have a table lamp behind my loveseat because I couldn't find a stock piece with the right height to be flush with my furniture. They were very agreeable to making a custom height. It's great to have a spot for a lamp and to set down a drink and a book out of the way.

Just keep in mind you'd need a narrow lampshade to allow room for you to sit in front. If you have existing lamps you want to use, take the shades into consideration.

The leather sofa is not discolored. Probably just poor photography on my part.
Everyone is pro sectional. I’m just having a hard time with cost and making sure it’s very durable, comfortable and pet friendly. Our lake house very dog friendly. We have five with just our two and three grand pups.

Here is another view of our space. It’s quite a quirky place but we love it. It’s been home base for 20 years now. So many great memories and good times.

I'm going to say "no" to the sofa. I think it is too heavy for a summer get away.
