I bought a bunch of U-Line branded ones because they offered me a higher option (7') than the others, and I can attest they were good (I say "were" good, because I left them behind when I moved because they were purchased for a particularly tall storage area). I have used Trinity shelving before and it was good - not as sturdy, but sturdy enough for home storage. As you said, consumer grade.

Think about building something suited to your needs. Solid shelving is so much more accommodating to various sized items- things stand and don’t fall thru.

Consider the amount of weight you need / plan to store in these. I just built the biggest DeWalt garage shelf over the weekend 6.5'W x 6'H. I wouldn't call it cheap, but it's way sturdier than anything I've found trying to cut cost corners.
