I'm supposed to deep clean my home?

The last time my inlaws visited before they died. My husband, who never cleans, helped fumigate.

ETA: That would of been in the early 90’s.

I just clean what needs to be cleaned and hopefully everything gets cleaned sooner or later.

I tidy, make beds and empty bins daily etc. I deep clean each bedroom once a week ( i assign a day to each (but never a weekend -thats to spend extra time on cooking for family gatherings). Even i clean windows on these deep clean days and the attached bathrooms. For other tasks such as ac grills, chandeliers and polishing ( not normal wiping) i do this every so often.

And twice a year i gather them all to refresh soil, trim etc.

Drawers, closets, pantry as needed. I usually spend time on these while waiting for something to finish cooking.

For bedroom closets, dressers, mainly keep on top of it unless i am in a new project mood - meaning i want to rearrange something.

I keep the house tidy at all times, vacuum a few times a week, keep laundry caught up, dust when company is coming, keep bathrooms and kitchen wiped down, and try not to see what else should be done! It is safe to say that at 76 I am much less apt to notice!
