Thank you I looked at those and really like them. Any suggestions on color ? My granite in kitchen is black , gray and white and my backsplash is marble. I was thinking of trying to pull some of that into that dining space but don’t know if it I should. I don’t want to darken that small dining space.

Yes! Either option…Your option brings in all of those elements. You could even do a transitional upholstered chair with wooden legs. Just make sure the chair height is below the kitchen counter and the back curved.

I don’t understand about the back being curved? And should the wooden legs be walnut or black wood?

I think a curved back chair fits better around a round table, especially in a smaller space.

You’re welcome! I think either table would work…wood top or all white…it’s really which one you prefer. Not to add to your stress…but a marble top would be lovely too! Maybe think about which one will work better for your family…ease of care, how it will stand up to the rigors of daily life. Same with the type of chair you choose. Hope this helps!

I decided against marble due to grandkids. I’ve been looking at chairs and I’m stuck with color to go with the rest of my area. Since I went with that chunky walnut brass coffee table and end table it’s throwing me off. Any suggestions?

I like the first one and last o e the best. I wouldn’t have thought of those kind of chairs.. but I’m liking it. Is it to to tone down the moderness ( not a word)of the table?

I was looking at style of chair first (with the flat white planes of background, I thought a more substantial upholstered transitional style would bring some texture/softness into that area), then colors available. It just happened that grey was the color that worked/was available. Navy blue or rust would pull the color from the rug would be nice but were not offered/available in those styles. White/cream would not work with white table. The grey MCM upholstered chairs in the grouping you posted as well as the wood chairs in the photo I posted would both work. It’s really a matter of style preference. Will you be keeping the white rug in the dining space? (A large round one would be nice.) If not, I’d look/decide on both before buying either.
