Hi, I am adding a window to a kitchen. It needs to be about 48” W x 24” H. I bought this one from American Windows (gliding). Nothing fancy but will install nice wood stained custom valance over it. Won’t even notice it’s so cheap;-). Contractor saw it and said this type of window is for sunrooms—not main living space. It won’t “fit” right with siding???

Only other window I can find this size is picture windows and they are all on backorder so might not work. Nonetheless, would this picture window work in a kitchen? Or are both either potentially fine? Are neither ok? Please help. Thank you!!
