Be aware that TC5 has no water level control for multiple load sizes. All cycles are fixed at two fill levels ... regular level or a Deep Fill level.

*Normal Eco -- 9" depth (13 gals) or 11" (16 gals)

Heavy Duty, Perm Press, Delicate -- 10" (14.5 gals) or 13" (19 gals)

Bulky/Sheets -- 11" (16 gals) or 13" (19 gals)

*Normal Eco runs only a spin-spray rinse unless Extra Rinse option is selected, which then is both a spin-spray and an agitated rinse. The other cycles run an agitated rinse, or two agitated rinses with Extra Rinse selected.

Best of luck to you! I think where you are reading reports of it being harsh on fabrics is from previous, out of production models. I have one of those, the AWN432. Great washing machine, but it's rough on everything we put in there. Anything with a weak or delicate spot will be frazzled. Your model has a different wash action and is more gentle to the fabrics. Happy washing when you get it set up!

Yes, tideman_59, it does. But it's a bit of a waste on the dial. It fills ATC style with tepid being the warmest one can get, then does a nice and gentle agitation for about a minute or two then just sits there soaking. It's basically a repeat of the soak cycle, but with ATC. I don't use it. It would have been nice if SQ made the delicate cycle with that gentle agiation for a decent amount of time...

It's a good washer, but not perfect. We do well together, but I tend to it's actions, manipulate the dial to what I need it to do and pay attention. Most people wouldn't do that.
