Design Dilemma DIY Kitchens

Misaligned Wine Rack - please help!

We’re renovating our kitchen and designed to include a vertical wine rack however our contractor got a unit that is meant to be placed horizontally (which we isn’t an option) and now the front and back panel are not aligned. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

One thought was to order an identical piece and cut out the front panel and match it up with the original front piece, but not sure if that will work…

Please help! all suggestions welcome :)

IMO kitchens are the worst place to store wine and if you must then this is correct you do not store wine perfectly flat fron to back

Thanks Patricia - are you saying to leave it as is then?

Your contractor should take it apart and position the rear screen slightly above the front to get the proper tilt, or build a new rear screen from scratch, or order a new vertical one. This is their flub and it’s on them to fix it.

Keep it full of wine and you'll never see it.
