Soon to be family of 5. We are adding cabinetry and countertops to make our laundry and mudroom more functional. We have an odd area though where I currently store clothes baskets that I’m wondering if it can be better utilized. Here is a mock-up of they main wall with counters all the way across (with a step down where cabinets start), plus a current view of the room that shows the area I’m asking about. What would you do with this space? We could make the shelves look nicer? Or make it a closet? What would you do??
