    Yikes! i thought it might be mullein but the one and only mullein I planted is on the other side of my garden . . . ???

    It's a weed that is found virtually everywhere. The seeds blow in or are carried by birds and other wildlife.......

    Like other weeds, its mechanisms of survival are stunning. it shriveled up and died in the spot I chose for it, and it’s thriving in the spot it chose for itself.
