I've only ever used Tapla's recipe in root pouches in like forever.....have added more peat but ultimately I realize it's also due to the pot material that changes the water content of the mix.

Just checked two 34" and four 20" planters I made with fresh mix. Plenty wet.

Anyhow, I guess 2022 will be learning how Tapla's mix works in solid material pots...as all my findings/understatings of the mix go out the door as it's behaviours are completely different due to the pot material itself.
