Some of the brands that I like are Patricia Nash, Bed Stu, and Hobo. I've been carrying a bed stu purse all winter and I've gotten a bazillion compliments on it but it's a big thing.

I am also a fan of Hobo brand bags. I have 5 or 6 of them. I'd look at the crossbodies-- and also check out Nordstrom Rack. They often have interesting colors and styles of Hobo brand.

I'm hung up on navy blue stripes. Goes with jeans...or white pants. Canvas is light weight.

I live on Cape Cod and work in a very relaxed office. We don't get dressed up often. My cousin sent me the tote bag that matches this purse for my birthday and I just love it. So I got the purse for Spring.

I have a small Fossil crossbody bag - two actually - one for summer and one for winter. I checked but I don't think they make mine anymore. Mine are similar to THIS. I also have a couple larger fossil bags in cute prints but I don't use those much since I retired. Now that I don't leave for 10 or more hours at a time I don't need all the stuff I used to carry for the day.

I think the Hobo wristlet, or pouch might be cute for you.

Can we post pics yet? Madewell is my go to for casual bags. I'll try to post a pic of mine.

I also have a great woven straw (actually, I think it's woven paper) tote that I got off walmart dot com for about $20. It's lined and has a pocket. It's lasted for 2 summers and I'm looking forward using it again if it ever warms up here. Last summer the vinyl handles cracked, so I sewed on two new woven ones in about 5 minutes (I think they look even better than the originals).

My bag and one I'm contemplating. ETA: nope. pic posting not fixed, obviously. And there they are!

I like the Jojo purse but I wish they'd take the credit card slots away and insert two deep pockets for sunglasses and reading glasses.

Great choice. I'm tempted to get it myself. There is also a round Sak that is super cute at the same site, but not lined.

The only thing about those crocheted Sak bags is that they’re quite heavy for their size, IMO. I have a similar one.
