Is this Rye Grass??

Live in Houston Texas and layed St Augustine Sod last summer. Previous lawn man winter seeded our lawn. Is this Rye grass from last seasons winter seeding done in November? I started pulling alot of these out and thought to myself…wait..is this good grass? Do I let it be and continue my weed and feed regimen for this Spring? Thanks.
